Kurland is synonymous with
fast and furious Polo on quality grounds.
The sport has proven to be a true ambassador for Plettenberg
Bay, and many world-class facilities have been established for
Polo enthusiasts. It is a place where the Polo players and their
families may enjoy themselves in comfort and in perfect harmony
with a coastal holiday. Kurland’s players and Polo horses
have international status, and the Kurland
International Day is heading towards being rated one
of the top ten polo matches in the world. The “Plettenberg
Bay Festive Season of Polo” and ”Easter Polo Festival”
are both must-do’s for seasoned holiday makers and jet-setters
from
around the world. |

The Kurland Shop,
located on the Kurland Estate in the original stable buildings,
is a warm and friendly place to visit. The smell of leather
greets you as you enter the doors and it is hard to resist reclining
in a comfortable leather chair and chatting away about horses
past and present. More importantly it provides an indulgent
experience for the discerning customer.
The exclusive Kurland Clothing Range is updated
every year to keep up with international fashion trends.
An eclectic collection of Polo Art is on display
and includes works by Frans Marx and Alejandro
Moy. Imported designer wear from Europe
and Kenya is also stocked, whilst
imported polo gear provides retail therapy for the avid polo
enthusiast. Notable leading brands include 30 Yarda saddles,
helmets and hand made leather boots imported from Argentina.
The Kurland Shop is open daily from 8 am until 5 pm. International
orders by credit card gladly accepted. For further information
